Rinaldo Petrignani appointed as director of International relations of the Italy-USA Foundation
The ambassador Rinaldo Patrignani was appointed as director of international relations of the Italy-USA Foundation. Rinaldo Petrignani was Italian Ambassador in Washington DC from 1981 to 1991. In his diplomatic career he had previously held various positions including deputy secretary general of NATO in Brussels, head of the Italian permanent mission to the United Nations in Geneva, and diplomatic advisor to the Italian prime minister. He is president of Boeing in Italy, and he wrote some books like “L’era americana. Gli Stati Uniti da Franklin D. Roosevelt a George W. Bush” (Il Mulino) and “In diretta con l’America” (Rusconi).
